“Mystique”

Storyline- This figure painting I did is about a seductive nymph with stones, gems and flowers growing from her skin. She is often very alone and isolated in her own zone. People doesn’t understand her and at this very time...she meets someone, the one person who truly understands her. She shows him her true intentions and reveals herself to him in a seducing way and show her uniqueness. Her variant gems and flowers that stems from within her, she shows it and there he sees her distinct aesthetics unlike any other. Still though, you can see the pain in her eyes, she has her guard up but at the same time she’s giving a try and finally decides to let someone in. Any other time, she’s always alone in her mystical forest and now she’s comfortable enough to show her true self and for that she is adored. She’s no longer hiding herself, her identity, her intent. She’s growing now the same way her flowers do.
